Prologis Announces New Leases Totaling 27,400 Square Metres at Uzice

Customers Recognise Strategic Importance of Key Czech Logistics Location

PRAGUE – 11 December 2012 –Prologis, Inc., the leading global owner, operator and developer of industrial real estate, today announced that it has signed two new lease agreements at Prologis Park Prague-Uzice, a modern distribution park less than 30 kilometres north of Prague.

The new lease transactions include:

·        14,800 square metresleased to Thimm Obaly, a packaging management company, at building DC4;

·        12,600 square metresleased to VF Czech Services, an apparel and footwear company,at building DC1.

Prologis Park Prague-Uzice consists of four buildings totalling covering 97,000 square metres. The site can accommodate up to seven buildings totalling nearly 170,000 square metres of distribution space at full build-out. Located adjacent to the motorway, Prologis Park Prague-Uzice boasts excellent connections to Prague, the industrially developed north of the country, the German border and the international port of Hamburg.

 

The transactions increase Prologis’ Czech portfolio occupancy rate from 91.3% in the third quarter to 93.8% at the end of November 2012.
